Model Cigarette & Bidi Packets handed over to WHO

Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust made sample packet of bidi, cigarette and zarda with pictorial warning to make people concern about the impact of tobacco on people’s health. WBB Trust organized a program on 18 March 2010 to hand over the packets to Dr. Mostofa Zaman, focal person and national Professional Officer of World Health organization (WHO). Kali Larson, official of Bloomberg Philanthropies, Dr. Ehsan Latif, Director (Tobacco Control), The Union, Dr. Shaleeni and Dr. Akramul Islam, Technical officer of The Union, Dr. Shahajahan, Executive Director of BCCP including officers of Aid, Unnayan Samunnay, PROGGA, YPSHA and CAB attended the program.
