A divisional meeting was organized on ‘Actions on Implementation of Effective Pictorial Warning on Tobacco Products’ on 11th September 2019 at the conference room of office of Commissioner of Dhaka Division. National Tobacco Control Cell, Health Service Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Office of Commissioner of Dhaka Division, Bangladesh Anti Tobacco Alliance, Tobacco Control and Research Cell and Dhaka International University have jointly organized the meeting. To make delay in providing the legal obligations of pictorial warning in tobacco packages within 19 March, tobacco companies are applying misleading propaganda and counter strategies. According to present laws and regulations, there is no argument for this kind of confusion. Pictorial health warning in the tobacco package is an important mechanism to prevent tobacco invasion in worldwide.
